Foxglove Systems

We’ll help you get your message out!

You’ve heard the saying:

You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Foxglove Systems can help you make a good first impression, through your website and e-newsletters, and more traditionally, via printed newsletters and other paper documents.

We Build Websites!

Your website, like a store-front, needs curb-appeal to entice visitors to explore it.

Whether you’re just getting started or want to update your current website,
Foxglove Systems will take the time to understand the nature of your business
and the objective of your website.

Traditional (Paper) Newsletters

Foxglove Systems has many years of experience with desktop publishing. We can produce a newsletter that

  • is appropriate in style and design for your organization
  • in black-and-white, spot-color, or full-color
  • fits your budget
  • is logically organized and attractive

We can generate an Adobe pdf (portable document format) version of your newsletter to post on your website.

Electronic Newsletters

Electronic newsletters are usually less extensive than their paper counterparts. They might feature full articles about only a couple of topics or issues, or present teasers for many with links to the full stories on your website or blog. They can carry your logo, typeface, and colors, so they are “branded” and immediately recognizable just as conventional paper mail is.
Your website can have a sign-up form for customers or patrons to subscribe to your electronic newsletter, and the e-mails themselves contain unsubscribe links. The system manages your mailing list.

About Foxglove Systems

Ann E. Campbell founded Foxglove Systems in 1991, after earning a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences and working for a decade in the pharmaceutical industry, where she provided computerized data acquisition systems to cardiovascular research laboratories. From then until 2010, her company wrote custom data acquisition software for pharmaceutical, chemical, and instrumentation companies. Along the way, Dr. Campbell gained extensive expertise in desktop publishing while writing user manuals and marketing materials.

As the internet developed, Dr. Campbell became involved in website development. Websites and communications, both electronic and conventional, have been the focus of Foxglove Systems’ work for the last decade. Dr. Campbell’s scientific training stands her in good stead in these areas; her website and publication designs are straightforward and well-organized as well as visually appealing.
